Durian is most commonly known as the King of Fruits. The name Durian comes from the malay word Duri which means spikes. The durian is a spiky, ball-like shaped fruit. The Durian originates mostly from the South-East Asia region. The durian also has a biologic name which is the Durio Zibenithus. The Durian is also a seasonal fruit which usually lasts from June up to August.
